What do you think of when someone has lash extensions?

No they don't. You can choose very subtle lashes or crazy ones. A friend remarked on how pretty my lashes were. She thought they were mine. They are not.

I know lots of people with filler and botox that look great and natural. I've also seen people who look insane!

You can get all of these procedures and look really natural. Some people want to look over the top.

I loooooove good lash extensions. I love them on myself but hate the time suck of getting them redone (and delicate nature of them).

I'm probably just admiring them if I'm staring too much!

There is a beautiful white girl in my office (I only point that out because of previous comments) who wears the lashes and she looks R-I-D-I-C-U-L-O-U-S. She's so, so pretty and she looks like she has caterpillars on her lids.

I can see wearing them to a special event, a wedding, etc. but EVERY DAY TO THE OFFICE? NO!!!

You all are only noticing the over the top lashes. Not the people who get lash extensions just to make their lashes look normal. You don't even see those.

I don't wear lash extensions because I'm lazy but I have friends who do and you would never guess it. They look like nice normal lashes with zero mascara clumping because no mascara needed.

Personally I am not sure how the ones that look like a caterpillar is on your eyelid are comfortable but you do you.

The ones that are natural looking are nice.

This is what people say about fillers, but we can tell. It's always obvious that something doesn't "fit" one's face. You may like the lashes and fillers, but it's very apparent that they're not natural, because something always looks a bit off.

Are we talking about the cheap lash strips that you get at Ulta? Or the individually placed lashes that cost $400 a month to maintain at a salon? I think those look beautiful if they’re done correctly.

I honestly don't understand the need at all. I have light and pretty short lashes...I just always wear mascara and it does the trick just fine.

I love lash extensions. I admired them on other ladies for years and finally indulged. Now I’m a convert. Get them every three weeks. They make me feel pretty. Hubby loves them too. I haven’t thought about whether others think they’re real or fake. I feel great with them.

What you are proposing sounds fine. What I normally see is really long, think fake lashes and I think it looks so low class and frankly, trashy.
