What restaurant does everyone love but you think is meh?

Taco bamba is more fast food though isn’t it? I agree FF is over rated also.

Agree for everything except the brunch buffet which is fantastic.

Glad I’m not the only one who thinks Founding Farmers is meh at best.

Not a fan of Xiquet. Food was good, but portions were comically small, especially the signature paella.

Also think Two Amy’s is overrated.

Agree with you post-pandemic. Almost every expensive restaurant has been a disappointment. Ellie Bird comes to mind as a good example of “not worth it.”

100% I was so excited about Ellie Bird but it was underwhelming and the service has been terrible every time I've been there.

Lebanese Taverna

Yup

You guys just have such an advanced palette and such elevated tastes, I’m incredibly fortunate to even post on the same anonymous message board as you. Wow.

Let me guess, everything in NYC is delectable right? Or is it Paris? Or are you going to go for a really deep reach and just say nothing can compare to the delicacies you enjoyed on your study abroad in Johannesburg or Delhi? Which way are you going to play this?

Palate.

You’re aware of autocorrect or do you have your head too far up your rear to have learned of this feature? It’s notoriously unable to read context clues and correct typos appropriately.

I only went once but was Queen's English was disappointing; everything was fine, but just... fine.

Someone mentioned Zatinya; I've been going for 20 years and still find it consistently delicious.

Los Dos Portillos in Denver. I did not see them in the DMV. My whole family and extended family and everyone love it. It's just beans and rice and meh to me. Their chips and salsa are good.

Peter Chang's

It all has the same spice. All the food tastes the same. Service is also very average.
