Why are most of the complaints about men?

1). Sex life
2). Wife gained weight
3). Wife is infantalizing kids
4). Wife nags too much/cares about things I don’t care about
5). Wife spending money I don’t want to spend
6). Ex-wife cheated and got too much in the divorce

I think complaints from men about women are in proportion to the number of men:women on the board.

+1

Plenty of complaints on this board from men- almost always sex or money related. There are just fewer men on this board than women, naturally.

Wrong: it is actually called DCUMAD, with “AD” literally meaning: AND DADS.

What’s rarely said or openly acknowledged is: this site is 98% women. You were right in that respect, I guess.

lol The url is literally dcum…clearly dads are not the priority.

url is dcur not dcum. And it clearly says "banmom"

Wow you’re tedious

Zero reference to dads, aka men, or male parents.

Lol. I am pretty sure the previous poster was joking, ya numbskull.

If a man complained that his wife didn't want to have sex with him, would you call him emotional, or inviting drama?

🙄

Alexa, what is the suicide rate by gender? What is the college attendance rate by gender?

Why? Men aren't better than women. They need to become more open with their feelings, not less

Has complaining about your feelings actually solved your problems, or just made you feel better? The latter. Men don’t feel better when they complain, not least because nobody is sympathetic when they do.

Doesn’t this prove that the societal institutions and cultural norms are working for men? Suicide rates tend to increase when cultural norms shift in your favor.
Also, men make more money as a whole, even though, as a whole, they are less educated.

Then why are they constantly complaining?

Jordan Peterson explains that men are on a larger spectrum of intelligence and behavior and women are more in the middle. Men are less regulated and have a wider range of behaviors so they are going to have more issues as a result of these changes between themselves and other men.

This sounds like Jordan Peterson.
It sort of sounds like he’s saying something, but if you try to think of examples, you realize that those words strung together don’t actually mean anything.

Bc women will make a problem just to give themselves something to do.

Let me guess. You're new here. This started out as a mailing list, then a blog type web-site before becoming the forum. The original list was DC Urban Moms. But about 10 years ago, DCUM became DC Urban Moms and Dads because once they moved to the forum style site, dads starting participating more. The site is still about 75% female and about 25% male, but it is is DC Uurban Moms and Dads now.

The current logo is at the top and you can see that it has added "and Dads". They are in italic to highlight that they've added men/dads to the conversation and audience.

But Jeff did not go back and deregister the web-site and reregister under DCUrbanMomsandDads.com. But you are incorrect when you say there is zero reference to dads.

I like that guy if he’s that psychologist from Canada who talks about personality and personal responsibility.

However, I think males are on a shorter distribution curve of intelligence and of behavior.
They’re actually incredibly predictable and almost primitively boring.
And the one trick pony “geniuses” can’t even remember to flush their toilets or where their keys are.

They are more singularly minded and more selfish if that's what you mean. But no, they have a longer trajectory of intelligence.

Do you think this is why about 75% of the complaints are about men and about 25% of them are about women?

Just out of curiosity, does this post count as a complaint about women?

I think it does.
