No matter how many votes Trump gets in November, he'll claim he won. And, because of this, some number of Trump supporters will take up arms against the United States again.

He's a threat to democracy, and the number of Republicans who simply don't care about the threat he poses is beyond disturbing.

Totally this. And the press inability to ask a Ron Johnson, a Marco Rubio, or any other GOP elected who wins in a cycle where they claim fraud at the top of the ticket should be asked over and over to explain the legitimacy of their election. Failing for a journo to do so demondstrates that they are accepting the fraud claim as a legitimate premise.

Its already hit them a dozen times. We want reproductive rights for women. We wanted the border bill. We want the peaceful transfer of power. We want you to support labor unions. We want the ACA. We do not want con artists like Scamtos.

These are not outlandish desires. Wake up GOP. Deliver on some of these basic things or continue to lose as you should.

Polling is not looking good for Biden. He's an elderly geriatric who really shouldn't be in the Oval Office making life and death decisions.

Trump is Trump. Roughly a third of the country subscribes to that insanity. And a third will be enough when Democrats put up a weak candidate and third parties perform strongly.

So, likely result is Trump prez, Republicans take the Senate, and Democrats take back the House.

+1. The special election yesterday was illustrative. On this issue...the GOP candidate was a mess. She refused to take a clear position.

We can tolerate a candidate that is personally against abortion as long as they will actively support pro choice, roe level protection policies. If the candidate tries to mealy mouth that, they are out. We are interested in getting out rights back and we expect out representatives to fight for that.

Democrats are hungrier than the GOP is and they are fighting harder. In all my time canvassing in VA & PA I have never come across GOP volunteers, they were all paid. Not saying they don't exist, but they pale in comparison with the left-leaning grassroots. We are moms, and students, and retirees, and (too few) dads all out there knocking doors, making calls, writing postcards, and hustling! The polls miss this intensity and they are wrong and they continue to not be able to capture the energy, anger, and fear we have. Discount us at your peril.
