Loudoun/NVA going MLS Next

The way I understand a club cannot have their 1st team in MLS Next and their 2nd team in ECNL. It's one league or the other. Is that correct?

Correct. ECNL wants you to have first team in ECNL

It's not a law.

If so, then they can keep girls in ECNL.
If not, then they are forced to move to GA

How are they forced to GA?

ECNL bundles their boys & girls teams. If boys don’t have their top team in ECNL, then the girls side can’t have ECNL.
wow Bethesda says otherwise

Bethesda is a solid soccer club all around...comparing their situation with ECNL/MLS Next to Loudoun is laughable at best.

If VRSC receives MLS Next, that will shift some Loudoun players.

What's the objective definition of "solid" in this case?
Why isn't Loudoun solid in comparison?

Looking at both BSC and Loudoun objectively on both boys and girls teams as a whole, they're not too much different aside from that BSC is able to be as strong as they are with a smaller sample size. Less teams all around compared to Loudoun Soccer, feels like more emphasis on quality vs quantity. As a club BSC knows what they are and what they aren't. Maybe Loudoun does too and perhaps they just want to cover everything, even the players that just do it recreationally but on a 'travel team'.

Solid is a pretty objective statement and would differ based off the bias of the person sharing that opinion (the 2009 and 2007 NVA girls in 1st place probably have a different experience and opinion about NVA then the 2009 and 2007 Boys that are in 10th). Comparing Bethesda to NVA is a matter of personal preference - it would be like saying pepperoni pizza is better than cheese pizza because at the end of the day pizza is delicious and now I'm hungry

Bethesda charges extra and makes people play at Muldoons Farm.

Wait, Loudoun is a much bigger club than Bethesda in terms of number of teams per age group?
Never heard the word small used to describe BSC in any category for this region.

When compared to Loudoun, most clubs are considered "small".

I don't pay for anything extra, so i'm not sure what you are talking about.

You're not paying the "I get to tell people my kid plays for Bethesda" monthly fee? I'm getting ripped off
