UVA — how best to transfer in?

Did not apply to UVA in HS. Now considering a transfer to UVA CAS- but will have to take 2 years foreign language. With regards to AP credits, more was given at W&M than what UVA will take.

What is it that’s driving the requirement for 2 yrs FL at UVA? (I thought generally that 4 yrs of HS foreign language was enough for UVA).

Four years of FL in high school is enough for UVA; parent of the W&M kid who had only three years in high school.
