Not everyone can afford to do that. And maybe they do but the max contribution also increased.

dramatic increase from 3600 to 3800 a pp take home. extra 200 bucks will go towards the emergency fund in a 5% certificate.

Capped GS15, got a little over $200 more. Doesn’t feel that significant but the jump from 176 to 192 over two years is impactful I guess.

I do! I’m SES. My pay raise was $14,962. After taxes and other deductions I netted an additional $322
