Big day for feds! We see our pay increase

Many of us will get our electronicnpaystubs tonight. Due to the day in the Pau period 1/1/24 fell on this seems like a long time coming!

If my direct deposit goes in this Monday is that paystub available tonight?

NFC should list your new salary independent of stubs

I just got my updated SF-50!

Question: why did it take so long?

I think the last pay period of 2033 ended the first week or so of January. So the first pay period of 2024 technically ended last Saturday. Yeah, I know…

How much $ wise did your take home pay increase? I haven’t seen mine yet, but always feels tiny with everything taken out.

It was like $120 increase. Sigh.

Yay, it covers the increase in health care premiums!!!

Sigh. I've been waiting for this AND my 2023 FSA reimbursement, and my banking app is giving me the periodic "sorry, technical issue, can't retrieve your information" error. Thanks USAA.

Not a lot on a per paycheck basis. Even if you got a $20k raise, it would only be less than $500 increase on your paycheck after taxes etc.

Yes, it reminds me of becoming a supervisor and moving up a grade and getting a 10K salary bump only to find that the salary increase for the extra hassles only amounted to a a $150 difference per pay period.

Just under $200. I will gladly take an additional $400 a month!

Yeah, I just moved up a grade in a new job and this was a little deflating. My paycheck went up about $190, but since we both increased our 401k/TSP withholding to max to the new limit, and my husband didn't get a raise at all, his take home went down about $110, so that raise won't really feel like much at all. I guess maybe we'll notice it in 25 years!

I diverted the raise into my TSP so I’m not going to see a difference.
