How much has it even snowed since yesterday? An coating of an inch or so on a deck might legitimately not be worth shoveling anymore! Although I (DH) would remove that much from the driveway.

Not OP, but we got the same amount today (4 inches) that we got Tuesday. Definitely shovel-able!

Dumb. Just shovel your property’s damn snow while it is fresh. It takes 5x the energy to remove snow once it’s frozen overnight.

Also, I hope you salted after you shoveled. It makes subsequent snow removal a lot easier.
