Opinions about AWDTSG site

Burden of proof is on the plaintiff (here - the guy), not the woman posting.

Really? I thought the burden of proof was on the person making the assertion.

For example, a woman on the AWDTSG page posts that a man assaulted her. Is the burden of proof on the man to prove he did not assault her?

What about a woman asserting that a man gave her an STI? Must the man prove he did not?

How can you be free to post whatever you want and not have to prove it?

I'm in a few of these groups, and there are many instances where someone is about to meet a guy for the first time and posts him. Then it's discovered that he's either married, a guy with a long arrest record, or something else pretty sinister. The group is great for uncovering stuff like that and has definitely saved women from meeting dangerous men. And some men really are dangerous. Unfortunately, there is also plenty of man-bashing and ridiculous stuff in there too, but that's not the intent of the groups.

Yes, in a defamation case, the burden of proof is on the plaintiff. If a woman brings an actual cause of action in court stating that a man assaulted her, then she as the plaintiff would have the burden of proof. Of course there is discovery, so the woman would have to demonstrate evidence of an std, connection to the plaintiff etc. but the actual burden of proof in the case is his. https://valientemott.com/injury-claims/defamation-lawsuits/

I’ve been sent the screenshots of the posts made about me and I was put down and bashed by women I never even met. The times I have been posted in there I have either broken up with them or just say they’re not worth my time and block them. I report them to the dating apps too. Once a woman posted our messages from Hinge and I sent the screenshots and reported her. Hinge banned her…
