DD 14 has a NYE birthday but despises it; DH dislikes NYE and says how depressing it is with the New Year

It’s my birthday season as well. I hate everything about NYE especially the annual recaps and nostalgia. I literally avoid TV until they start talking about Dr King. I moved my birthday to the summer as a kid so I could have better parties.
