I’m having a do-nothing day

Me too. But I’m getting massage in a couple of hour and the later will hit my home gym and later watch k drama.

I love my life.

I'm hanging out at work today basically doing nothing - browsing DCUM, occasionally tidying/organizing stuff at leisure. Weird I know but I love having the entire office to myself for a few hours out of the house.

I no longer practice law but when I did I loved going into the office on holidays -- it was the best. Quiet and no one to interrupt me.

I’m still in pajamas. In bed with a migraine. Negative Covid test. Yesterday, I had an alarmingly gurgling stomach and intermittent gas pains. Slept 10 hours. Getting up to shower.

Our big gathering is 12/25 at local in-laws. Resting up. I’m normally the mom who preps everything, bakes, wraps…and I’ve had to drop the rope. What doesn’t get done…either DH or my young adults will do or we’ll go without.

I am also single no kids and live alone with a dog. I never, ever get tired of do nothing days - so many walks to take, books to read, movies and shows to watch, hobby projects to work on.

Went for a lovely walk with my DH and then I took a nap. Maybe I will run a load of laundry and wrap a few gifts.

I was off work last week and did nothing. I kept counting up the days thinking I can't believe I've done nothing for this many days!!

Time off work flies by so fast.
