I’m having a do-nothing day

Anonymous
I made breakfast, ate it as I watched Christmas movies. Then I had some leftover ground beef with rice for lunch as I watch The Tudors. Now I think it’s time for a nap!

Same. I showered and washed my hair. I made some banana bread, and I'm waiting -- in sweatpants and a sweatshirt that don't match --on the arrival of a new foster dog. Other than that I refuse to do anything.

Showering, washing hair and baking is an exceptionally productive Saturday in my world!

If you plan to have children in the future, savor this time.

I have children and am having a similar day. They’re doing a puzzle, MagnaTiles, and later will watch Elf.

I am single with no kids and live alone. Aside from work, every day is a do-nothing day for me. It gets old fast.

I'm single with no kids and live with one dog. I work about 25 hours per week from home.
Every day is a free day for me and many are lazy. It never gets old and it never gets boring.

Will do. He's due here any minute. I hear he's a big PITA. We'll see!

We had plans for a hike, but got sucked in to a Star Wars marathon on tv, even though we have seen it a million times and have Disney+.

It’s just nostalgic to watch it together, as we’ve done so many times over the decades as a family. Corny, but here we are.
