What makes these women so attractive?

However, men in these circles become so accustomed to looking at women who look like that, that I think it's normalized and they don't really even "see" the issues with it. I've been in rich person restaurants where you look around and everyone looks like a cartoon character gone wrong but I don't think they have any idea and in fact they believe they look good because they spent such copious amounts of money to achieve it.

They go to similar doctors, and the have many similarities (moreso than differences) - tale as old as time. You can claim Sanchez is as "smart" as you like, but that is not it (and doubtful that she is - conniving, but that is different).

Spot on with the first 2 paragraphs. I disagree that wealthy men go for this look. After all, your average rich guy isn't interested in duck lip women. I do think they're willing to to put up with it for a woman who says just the right thing.

Kimberly Guilfoyle is not fit. She also wears a uniform of dresses that do not flatter her. Her hair and makeup are the worst. She was pretty in the past but I think she looks terrible, and it’s not aging, it’s her extreme, over-the-top style. She looks unhappy and depressed, too. Both of these women seem fun. It's not up for debate as to whether they are educated-- they are. They also run in much more elite circles than the average DCUMer.

The real question is why DCUM thinks that what men really want is an uptight but liberal woman with "tasteful" clothes and neat, tidy nails? These men are rich enough not to need anyone's approval and can marry a hot woman. They don't have a social ladder to climb.
