Marijuana in Baltimore

It does feel like we've done (mostly) away with tobacco smoke only to be replaced with weed smoke.

In my experience, the weed smokers are more courteous than tobacco smokers who park themselves right outside the only entrances to places, causing everyone to walk through their smoke just to enter a mall or office building ugh.

But she's wrong. Just be glad you don't have to smell it at your home at 7am. And noon. And afternoon. And evening. And sometimes 4 in the morning when she can't sleep.

She needs help if she starts using drugs at 7 in the morning.

Make her smoke outside. Wouldn’t you if it was cigarettes?

She smokes it because she has anxiety issues. Should we outlaw people taking their prescription anti-anxiety meds at 7am?

And she's highly productive in her workplace and her home like, so can't really use that as an argument against it.

But all that still doesn't mean I don't hate it.

I don't think a spouse should "make" their spouse do anything. She does smoke it outside, Unfortunately, one of her smoking spots is a chair right outside the door to my makeshift telework area. And the smell comes in through the crack, when she opens the doors, and on her breath and clothing.

Kind of curious where op lives that this was a surprise to her. I may want to move there myself

+100 I have a very liberal friend who lives the the Midwest (bless her heart) she went her dream California vacation lol then couldn't stop complaining about how bad the weed smell was. She was always for the legalization of it. Then experienced it. They vote before they think.

Your wife has a serious problem. You know that, right?

Had it ever occurred to her/ you to treat or manage the source of the anxiety?

Or, deal with real problems instead of trying to self medicate?

What if she had a glass of wine throughout the day for her anxiety? Is she dependent upon it?

I would not like either. CBT would be better.

I always thought legalizing marijuana was just jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire. For all the flaws of the drug war and keeping marijuana illegal, at least it did curb it to some degree and there's a virtue to it.

Having spent the last two weeks in Germany and Denmark, I did notice how we never once smelled weed anywhere, but we sure did smell plenty of tobacco. However, I must admit that the tobacco didn't quite annoy me as much as weed would. Something about the lingering presence of weed is different from tobacco smoke, which tends to dissipate much more quickly.

This why I use edibles to deal with my anxiety issues at times. Really don't understand why people want to smoke when edibles are now easy to get and legal too.

Go to a Commanders game. People are smoking in the stands and concourses. Maybe the reason the Commanders stink (pun intended) is they are playing with contact buzzes.

I think you are very wrong. Very, very wrong.

Democrats are much more pro marijuana than Republicans.

100% blame everyone who voted for more drugs in our society. (And yes, removing barriers to a drug increases its use).

I smell it in cars that drive by, so it is leading to more accidents also.

Great idea geniuses.

Nope. Dope consumers don't deserve to be prosecuted and there's nothing you can do about it except stomp your feet and pout. Deal with it.
