Marijuana in Baltimore

Anonymous
I took my young kids to Baltimore past weekend for a kid event, and a friend told us that we should check out German Christmas Village because it's nearby. While we walked passing by German Christmas Village to check it out quick to see what's available to buy/eat, I smelt marijuana a few times there & at the playground there nearby. The last time I was in Baltimore was 2 years ago. I know marijuana is legal now. Did I smell a lot of marijuana because of Germantown Christmas village event which was attended by many adults there or it become a norm now there everyday? We passed by more quickly because we have small kids and I don't want them to smell them.

We are thinking to visit New York next spring/summer, does New York city smell like marijuana everywhere these days? We are thinking to stay in New jersey, and take shuttles to new york city to explore. The last time I went to New York was like 15 years ago. We are thinking for 3 days 2 nights.

Yeah a lot of places do. A woman walked by me in my local Target yesterday and smelled of it. It is what it is.

The stink is everywhere. Why people voted for this, I will never understand.

Yes, NYC smells like stinky roach weed everywhere. MD weed is higher quality and smells nicer!

We finally got rid of omnipresent cigarette stink, and now this.

Yeah I had planned to retire to a flat but now am a committed SFH owner because weed smell is insidious.

We hate going to wharf now, it smells so bad.

Can we gene edit some weed to smell better??

My daily weed smoking wife will tell you that "flower smells good, tobacco doesn't.:

But she's wrong. Just be glad you don't have to smell it at your home at 7am. And noon. And afternoon. And evening. And sometimes 4 in the morning when she can't sleep.

Yes I live in NOVA and the stench is everywhere, Alexandria, Arlington, Falls Church, Annandale. Most major cities are all the same. NYC, Baltimore, SF, LA all stink of weed. Legalizing it was stupid AF now everyone has to smell it everywhere. A few days ago the very strong smell of the car in front of me got trapped in my car for a while. It's so gross.

Legalizing was not stupid. Does nobody remember the drug war? Who did that serve?

It’s stupid that police don’t enforce laws. Smoking in public is illegal.

Smoking while driving is illegal.

100% blame everyone who voted for more drugs in our society. (And yes, removing barriers to a drug increases its use).

I smell it in cars that drive by, so it is leading to more accidents also.

Great idea geniuses.

She needs help if she starts using drugs at 7 in the morning.

Make her smoke outside. Wouldn’t you if it was cigarettes?

How often do you get out and about - this is pretty much everywhere now. I didn't vote for it, but here we are.

Probably the same people who said shutting down schools to slow the COVID epidemic (before we had vaccines) was a disaster for kids’ learning thought legalized marijuana was fine.
