Oh, and the Reminiscence jeans I narrowed the calves of, myself, by hand.

You didn't just peg roll your jeans? Or is that what you mean?

Actually sewed them!

The women had the hair and bods to amaze back then.

Now the population looks sallow and devoid of health.

I had this high cut one-piece that I loved. My was peach and blue.
Maybe high cut is back in style, but the backs are all cheeky. I miss high cut with full coverage on the back. You were always adjusting your suit, but it was a great time for swimsuits. So flattering.

Other PP - me too! Ah, the good old days at the beach each summer day!

One of my prized possessions is a 10,000 Maniacs concert tshirt from I think 1988. I was SO excited to go to that show, and while Natalie was singing Verdi Cries at the piano two women started fighting. Natalie stops and says, "Really?" then walks off the stage, that was the end of the show.

I totally believe this happened. I remember her on that tour. So young and righteous. It was sort of her schtick.

Lee baggy pinstripe jeans. Knit vests. White turtle necks with a pattern -- like a bunch of little ducks, or hearts, or whales or something. Sperry topsiders. Ray Ban sunglasses.
