I am 53 and workout hard 6 days a week--my hair gets sweaty.
I have shampooed my hair pretty much every day of my life. I have very thick, shiny hair. I am about 1/4-1/8th grey and I color it every 5-6 weeks; highlights two-three times a year. I think it's nasty to not wash your hair if you get sweaty. I mean--wtf? after peloton my hair is literally soaking wet with sweat. I also can smell dirty hair---on people that don't look like they would have dirty hair-but probably do the limited washing. It's gross. It's a distinct smell. I smell in in line at the grocery store, etc. |
Your hair is very thick - not everyone's is. I sweat a lot and my hair gets sweaty, too, from workouts, but because my hair is thin, a thorough rinse is sufficient most days of the week. No comment on your superior olfactory abilities. |
| lol even my 7 year old can accomplish this. |
| Are you the same person who asked how to wash your face without getting water everywhere? |
| How do some people get through life? |
Rely on DCUM to make decisions for them. 😁 |
? Fine hair is usually stringy and greasy. I would think you need light shampoo even more. |

I put mine in a bun and just dont get it wet.
I aint got time to blow dry every day |
| How old are you? I'm having difficulty believing an adult can't figure this out. |
| It truly depends on your hair type. I tried so hard to get my hair to accept washing every other day in my 20s. I bought the "right" shampoo, went an entire month of only doing it every other day, and still within 12 hours of washing it it looked greasy. I must wash it every morning to be presentable in public. My hair is super fine and stick straight and just gets gross really quickly. |
