I watched Pieces of April last night and I thought it was almost perfect. Just the movie a lot of people could use right now.

I just watched Past Lives and came here to add to the thread. What a great movie about love, self, fate, and immigration.

Loved Past Lives so much. I’m not good at articulating what moved me. The cinematography was well done, and I loved how real the characters were. It didn’t feel like a Hollywood “manipulate your emotions” type film.

Oppenheimer. And that's not the last movie I've seen, just the last really excellent one.

That movie is so good!

Love this one too! I remember thinking that Spielberg really was a genius after seeing this. It's fun, light, captures an era perfectly and just seems effortless.

Another one, not quite as perfect, but also good by Spielberg is The Terminal with Tom Hanks.

The last excellent movie I've seen is The Holdovers.

The only thing I hated about this movie is that it never felt like she really loved the Korean guy. Or why she loved the Jewish guy. She felt too emotionless. But maybe it’s me.

I did like the point of the movie though. Won’t share what I thought it was because it’s too spoilerish.

I wish you could share! I want to discuss the movie I think one of the major points was the last scene.
