Yes muscle mass loss in aging is a very real thing, but most folks can maintain by staying active and weight training and can build plenty of muscle on a vegan diet.

But I know you won’t listen to me because there is so much cult of protein propaganda out there.

Truth:

Vegans look sickly, pale and wane.

There are tons of vegan endurance athletes. I am one of them. I have many sub-70.3s. How many do you have?

Endurance athletes don't tend to to have much, if any, muscle mass.

This comment is laughable, you must know that. Nobody can endure any kind of physical exercise if they don’t have any muscle mass, as you suggest. You and science are ill acquainted.

Go start your own thread. OP is asking for food ideas not a this running commentary.

I try to hit about 30g of protein each meal and throw in a protein shake or high protein snack in the afternoon.

Breakfast ideas:
- egg white omelet- I make my omelets with 276g of egg whites, scallions, tomatoes (30g protein), add side of toast if you're still hungry
- Kodiak pancakes -- super easy and quick (30g protein)

Lunch ideas:
- tuna salad sandwich with 2 slices of Dave's killer bread
- bowl of turkey chili (made from 93% lean ground turkey) and some avocado and tortilla chips to go with
- turkey sandwich with 2 slices of Dave's killer bread

Dinner ideas -- side salad with these as wanted:
- chicken 100g, with rice and beans
- salmon 100g, with rice, sauteed broccoli
- spaghetti bolognese made with ground turkey (I make the sauce using extra turkey)
- linguini with grilled chicken breast, garlic, olive oil, grape tomatoes and capers
- grilled steak with chimichurri sauce, rice and black beans on side

Snack:
- Fairlife protein shake (30g)
- 3/4 cup greek yogurt with granola and berries (16g protein)
- Avocado toast with 1/2 cup cottage cheese on 1 slice dave's killer bread (18g protein)

The poison's in the dose. No one is effing up their kidneys or taxing their liver with 90g protein a day (30g/meal).
