I have contacted Ward 3 CM Frumin re the safety issues at the Brandywine and other buildings on Connecticut Ave several times with no response from him. Criminals and severely mentally ill people are being given carte blanche to wreak havoc in an area filled with kids and elderly people, the most vulnerable among us. Frumin hides his head in the sand, as does the mayor. Shame on them.
These people love to ignore in a crisis. They are not in office to serve our kind. The crime isn't exactly a surprise to him- this is just the beginning. Afterall, he continued to bring the vouchers- even boasted about it to the neighborhood after Mary Cheh, who was less outspoken as Frumin. Cheh was a devil in sheeps clothes. The neighborhood and our lives was doomed when these people were elected. They're trouble. They love to to stand with the 'other' and the wrong side of the law to get elected or for employment in positions of authority. With a blink of an eye, our safety, benefits, rights, etc are all gone. We are expected to have less than, corruption is just part of living in DC, mediocrity is fine, lawlessness and violence is acceptable- all in the name of racial justice. Why did everyone vote for this man? I hope everyone has learned a lesson.
