| Which teams are playing in this league this winter? |
| Who’s the new girls director |
All of them |
The St James lost both Lacrosse directors (girls and boys sides) and haven't hired replacements. |
The St. James will hire a replacement by the time the indoor season is ready to start. Worst case they'll task someone already affiliated with the facility to run it. No chance they'll give up the indoor lax season based on how popular it's become. |
Go to the St James lacrosse page. They have in fact hired Carr's replacement, Stephy Samaras |
Mine is. |
| BLC 2031 Blue Girls are! Which team is yours whoever said mine is? |
More whining... I'm going to enjoy some indoor lacrosse after a 5 minute walk from the ample free parking at the back of the building. |
So what is CCL's affiliation with STJ if SS is their Director of Lacrosse and running CCL? |
I’m going to pound on the back door until someone lets me in and cut my walk time in 1/2. That’s the way we roll in Bethesda. |
No lies detected…I’ve walked through the back doors so many times. |
| Anyone else registered for this? |
For girls, lots of high school teams - both public and private - play every year and I know a bunch are signed up this year. Several club teams usually sign up, too. I would assume the usual suspects for clubs. Last year I remember Stars, Pride, MC Elite, YJ, VA Metro, Renegades, to name a few. |

FWIW, my HS daughter will not play with her club, only with her high school.
And her HS team can’t be coached by the main coach bc of rules about when the season can start, so these are essentially captains’ practices. My daughter will use the winter to focus on skills where she needs the most help (one game last year the captain only wanted her to take low shots) and also where she will likely be needed on her HS team (which is slightly different than where she plays for her club). All of this is to say, don’t read too much into scores, which this board loves to do. |
