I'm not staff. I'm a parent and I was not notified of anything. |
The superintendent is on sick leave. There is no need for a press release. |
Crazy timing though. People are going to suspect the worst based on the MCPS track record. I can't say I blame them. |
+1. This is so stupid. |
You mean cheer for the worst? Come on, let's be better than this people. |
Well, DCUM gonna DCUM.

I genuinely wish people were better than this but seriously there are a couple die hard posters who have done nothing but cheer for this woman to fail from day 1. |
It is an anonymous board. Seek counseling for your paranoia. |
I mean honestly, if she's on sick leave, there's no need to have an acting superintendent unless it's anticipated that she will be gone for a long time or never. |

Superintendents don't take sick leave unless they have surgery or they are about to resign or be forced out.
Which is it? |
Logic fail.
|
Not if you know public schools. Superintendents just don't do this. They work from hospital beds. We'll see, I guess. |
She's home and sent a note to staff today to not send emails on weekends and at night. I guess she is struggling for boundaries and she wants us to establish boundaries. It sounds good, but there is never permission to lessen the workload and miss deadlines. |
