These have the comfy factor but come off more like pants- any banded ankle reads as a jogger and they all look similar.

These look like work pants, not sweats or joggers.

Here's the jogger version

Vuori is recommended a lot because it's a trend. They used to make a high quality pair of joggers but now it's just a run of the mill, overpriced, paper thin stuff with the Vuori label.

It is just one person saying this, again.

I love my vuori joggers. They are not thick (and they never used to be) -- that is one thing I love about them...they don't look like sweat pants. They have a slim, almost sleek, fit; the cut is fantastic. But, no, they are not paper thin. This just isn't true.

The fabric is nothing -- NOTHING - like what you get at old navy. It is soft and buttery and remains so after a zillion washes. Everything about them looks like new after those zillion washes.

OP -- I'd recommend a slim fitting pair of joggers (doesn't necessarily have to be Vuori, but not a thick jogger) with a nice, clean, not grubby sneaker and a fitted ribbed long sleeve tee. If you need another layer for weather, maybe like a long open cardigan or a cropped puffer vest. A look like that would be great for the sideline of you kid's fall soccer game, school drop off, popping into a store, picking up a kid from an activity, etc.

Again, the material is paper thin. They’re almost “not wear out of the house” thin. Nothing like how they used to be-which wasn’t thick but it’s not the garbage they sell now.

Lolololol to these being stylish

I like the FP Movement Let's Bounce pants, because they are sleek and fitted like yoga pants, don't have the pill/bag out factor of fleece sweats, but are cuffed like joggers.

If that's too athletic for you, then I can vouch for the J. Crew factory pintuck sweatpants, which are more polished looking but still comfy like sweats and a little more versatile. I wash on cold inside-out and hang dry, because they tend to fade.

You don't have to "peek" at them, you can look at them forthrightly.

These would only look decent on a thin person. Put even a small mother's apron in those pants and it's not flattering.

Perhaps, but they're a hell of a lot closer to what OP says she wants than the joggers that are being recommended. I love my Vuori joggers, but in no way are they "proper" looking.

I think these are the best option so far.

I wouldn't think of calling those sweatpants (I know that's the name). Those are pull on work pants.

People need to stop recommending Vuori. I swore by them but their quality is total garbage these days. It used to be so much better. I am holding on to my 2019/2020 pairs for dear life.

Are you the same person who comes on here and says this in any thread where Vuori is recommended? This is made up and in your head. I have joggers from 2019 and 2 pairs I bought this year, and they are exactly the damn same! No one is saying this except you.

You’re wrong! The company has even admitted they changed their material. So whether it’s me or not, it’s irrelevant because the quality has in fact changed and not for the better.

I love Vuori as much as everyone but the quality has tanked.

Co-sign. I loved them so much and the most recent pair I bought split along the seam the first time I wore them (not from tightness - they’re joggers!). The lady at Nordstrom signed when I returned them and said they’ve seen tons of similar issues lately.

Wearing ridiculous shoes with sweats does not dress them up. I feel like this look was inspired by a unhoused person.

They are sweatpants. Let them be what they are.
