why is vuori so often recommended? I could use a new pair of joggers but they honestly look a lot like my beloved Old Navy pair. I'm open to spending more, I just want a good reason to!
Vuori is recommended a lot because it's a trend. They used to make a high quality pair of joggers but now it's just a run of the mill, overpriced, paper thin stuff with the Vuori label.
It is just one person saying this, again. I love my vuori joggers. They are not thick (and they never used to be) -- that is one thing I love about them...they don't look like sweat pants. They have a slim, almost sleek, fit; the cut is fantastic. But, no, they are not paper thin. This just isn't true. The fabric is nothing -- NOTHING - like what you get at old navy. It is soft and buttery and remains so after a zillion washes. Everything about them looks like new after those zillion washes. OP -- I'd recommend a slim fitting pair of joggers (doesn't necessarily have to be Vuori, but not a thick jogger) with a nice, clean, not grubby sneaker and a fitted ribbed long sleeve tee. If you need another layer for weather, maybe like a long open cardigan or a cropped puffer vest. A look like that would be great for the sideline of you kid's fall soccer game, school drop off, popping into a store, picking up a kid from an activity, etc.
Again, the material is paper thin. They’re almost “not wear out of the house” thin. Nothing like how they used to be-which wasn’t thick but it’s not the garbage they sell now.
