8:01 again. We couldn’t get any residential program to take our kid, I spent so many hours of my life calling places.

I feel for you OP and not enough people talk about this. And I agree with the other posters-call the police and use the justice system or a residential program if you can afford this.

Nobody deserves to live like this. It’s not a life. And you matter just as your kid does.

OP, act now, not only because your own safety is at risk but also because you will have no ability to impact things once kid is 18.

Is DC violent and disruptive at school? Or just at home?
