A MS-13 gang execution and Olney is not racist reporting.

Not reporting all the other crimes is the racist part of the reporting. If you think the only crimes that happen in Olney are committed by MS-13, well I can't help you.

Besides they went to Olney because they thought they were in the country and nobody would hear them way out there.

But all other crime is reported. I pay attention to the reporting and not just latino crime is reported about. Recently in Olney we have had a murder (black), sexual harassment and rape (white), burglaries (various races), slightly further north a barricade situation (white).

There is a mentality among MoCo police and county agencies (think: the ones running the government and various community services) that the gang problem is centralized in the immigrant Latino community (whether newly arrived or first generation American) and we don’t need to worry because the crime and violence is primarily limited to those who are gang-affiliated. Said another way: they aren’t killing truly innocent bystanders, so it’s not a real problem.

I’m more interested in the murders happening in our area: MoCo and the larger dc metro area.

I suspect the demographics would be different in MoCo and the surrounding area.
