Same but I use tinted moisturizer. Less buildup. |
Wow, how awful. Are you a Kardashian? |
|
Aveda tinted moisturizer with spf 15. Under eye concealer (both with fingers blending) and trace dusting of loose powder with a big brush. Light powder blush with a brush.
Underneath I use oral prescription skincare, and occasional retinol, with forehead Botox 4 times a year. |
So why respond? |
52, I used my fingers until I bought a small blender. It’s an Ulta brand and comes in packets of 2. I think it works better. I’ve also tried a brush but I thought it took too much time and was messy. |
Agree with Erica Taylor, I've learned a lot of great tips for applying makeup |
+1 except I use TikTok (I'm 58). When I do wear foundation, I use a brush. For me, I can get a lighter, more even application without so much drag that I'd get using my fingers. I'm sure the method you choose mostly comes down to preference - sort of what products you use on your hair! |

Fingers, and sparingly.
I've been thinking about hitting up a makeup counter to have them try some foundations on me and give me tips. Lately, I feel like my face just absorbs all the makeup and I look blah within a couple of hours. |
| I use my fingers because I don't want all that expensive product on my sponge/brush/etc rather than my face. I haven't noticed a difference in how it looks. |
| I've never used foundation. The closest I've gotten is a tinted moisturizer, to be fair though I'm blessed with good skin...but don't worry there are other things I'm not blessed with such as stretch marks. |
Sure Jan |
Super helpful in a threat title "how do you apply foundation?" I'm sure your contributions in meetings are super valued too |
Ha! I used a blender and based on all these comments, I am going the other way and trying fingers. |
fingers work better but it's messy. Hard to get some types of foundation off your hands. |
