| My kid got into their first choice and HATED it. Sucked it up for two years and then transferred. The transfer school is a much better fit and he’s much happier |

No, Bill Maher attended Cornell. And he has never said he had a bad experience. His position is that college is not for everyone while he reaps the benefits of his education. He’s a hypocrite. Not that any of this matters an iota. |

Every grad student I've ever met from both school's hated them but maybe it's just being cold and in grad school |

| I actually hated Yale. My gut told me to choose a different peer school, but I convinced myself Yale was “better”. It wasn’t the best fit and I still regret it but had and still have too much pride to admit it (except on an anonymous forum). I encouraged my kids to look at Yale but they weren’t very interested. They happily ended up at different T5 schools. |
