I have never done IVF or been in an infertility group or an IVF group, but OP said was an IVF group. I would expect that an IVF group would be for anyone doing IVF, whether for infertility, or for sex selection due to a genetic disorder in their family, or because they are a surrogate, or lesbian. I would think an infertility group would be an entirely different thing.
