Top rated? Whaaaat |
| Yeah, when you have multiple kids playing D1 (Ivy, ACC and Big 10) you can use “our family.” |
| And probably all are studying sports management….. |
| Landon now with a Penn and Princeton. Sorry SJC but you lose. You maybe have 1 Ivy League commit in the last ten years. |
|
Is it getting harder for public school kids to get recruited to D1, or even D3? As an example Top Caliber and Madison/Robinson/Braddock Rd used to have at least a few D3 recruits / year and it's close to 0 now.
Or maybe it's just increased competition from rest of the country. |
In the 2023 class: Braddock had four commits, three of them D1 Robinson had four commits So WTF are you even talking about? |
|
Da Bears have two 2025s officially off the recruiting trail.
1 commit to Penn 1 commit to Princeton. |
Wrong, finance with job offers, one already on Wall Street and one currently in tech. |
| That’s great! Though I don’t know why you feel so insecure you have to brag on an anonymous lax message board. But I hope they do great things for humanity! Those fields are known for it! |
Says the beltway tree hugger on a lax board. |
| That's the best you can do? Man, you keep finding ways to disappoint.... |
It must annoy the STA crowd when they see a school like Landon have some of their marquee younger players commit to an Ivy League school. Contrary to STA beliefs, there are lots if great athletes who also happen to be exceptional students in the classroom at other schools in the area. |
Not the PP but there is a lot of truth to this. The LB players all played for the same club and HS had nothing to do with it. The other public school players all get committed through the club. Private school players still get an edge in recruiting as coaches get to see them compete v. tougher competition assuming we are talking a top 10 program. This allows them to see HS and club. Remember this recruiting is happening sophomore year. It is more rare each year to see a public school with multiple D1 kids. Madison only had one last year and they won states. Some private school programs have 10. |
who said they were exceptional students? They can play lacrosse. |
Ivies care about grades and gpa, a lot. |
