A Return to Face Masks

Are you talking about masks on kids? Masks were never recommended for kids under 2, which is most of the daycare population.

That's just not true. Go to any daycare. The vast majority of children are 2 and up. When mask mandates were in place, the vast majority of children in daycare had to wear them.

Our day care required them and the kids actually did wear them. My younger one went back in summer 2020 as a just turned 3 year old. Did not get Covid in day care / preschool for the 2 full years she attended masked. Even when there were cases. That said she also didn’t get it thereafter until just recently for the first time, so she also made it over a year without masking.

I was fine with masking before there were vaccines. That time was terrible. Now it makes little sense because most people won’t do it. If you know you have Covid it would be courteous. But no point in doing it constantly.
