Every accusation is a confession. Republicans pose a serious threat to women’s rights in VA. The last time they held the GA they tried to push crazy anti-women legislation. Anyone downplaying this has an agenda against women. |
We talk about lots of things. But a lot is on the line - especially for women - with the GA elections. |
It’s too early because women don’t get the anatomy scan until 20w. |
ah, it’s about that time. Hi “amoral scum” poster! |
I find the comparison to Europe to be a weird red herring. This isn’t Europe. Republicans have long maintained we shouldn’t be like Europe. It’s one thing I agree with. Why on Earth are you invoking Europe like it’s a useful benchmark for any American policy? How strange. If you’re ready to do that, shall we discuss taxes and health coverage? |
Strong state university system but no to the others. 1) No restrictions on abortion whatsoever. That is between a woman/family and the doctor. 2) Parents are not “in charge” of their children’s education. The schools are in charge. The schools know better and have training in pedagogy and set the curriculum. Parents need to stay in their lanes. They’re not important stakeholders. 3) we want more gun control, not “constitutional carry.” Ideally, we should confiscate guns from most people. Anyone caught carrying a hidden gun should be imprisoned for a minimum of 30 years. We are sick of guns in this country. Taxes will be what they are for things like a strong state university system and other public goods. |
Agree, but waste, fraud and abuse must be eradicated at the state and local level. |
Funny how that term stuck with you. Must have hit a nerve. DP. |
External agitator. VA doesn’t have teachers unions. Not with any significant influence. |

“ “When I’m governor, and I have a majority in the House, we can start going on offense,” he continues. “But as a campaign topic, sadly, that in fact won’t win my independent votes that I have to get. So you’ll never hear me support Planned Parenthood, what you’ll hear me talk about is actually taking back the radical abortion policies that Virginians don’t want.”
He’s ready to go on the offense. |

Republicans have already tried multiple times since Youngkin took office. The D’s very narrow hold in the Senate is the only thing that blocked them.
We are only two senate seats away from women losing rights in this state. |
No, I am from NOVA so familiar with the Virginia Education Association and Fairfax Education Association which are affiliated with the NEA. |
True. And I care deeply about this issue plus many others that Rs seem hellbent on pushing on the public |
Tell her don't let the door hit her on her way out. |
So then you know they have very little influence over education in VA. Unfortunately. |
