| Harvard is a rapey university. So many schools have the halo effect. USNWR should include this data. |
I was there within the past year and we stayed near Vanderbilt. Although we didn’t go to there for a tour of the campus, I came home and told my DD to not apply. I realize it’s hard to get into anyway but I felt the area wasn’t safe. I usually am not overly cautious and am not afraid of cities but I was in edge in Nashville for the entire trip and not just in downtown. I am not sure who is causing the crime but there were so many homeless people obviously on drugs everywhere. |
Yikes .. Charlottesville is trauma central. |

No, it isn’t. I live there. |
| The real meaning of this lists is that the site needed hits and the SEO person said a list would get hits. The people who put most of these know less about statistics than a cat knows. |
A high rape rate could be the result of a lot of rape, but it could also be the result of a campus having a lot of tough, educated students who are unusually likely to report rape. |
| Umd, John hopkins |
Lol umd is the definition of ghetto |
| Scary to see the breakdowns never the less. |
I’d say it’s tougher to report a rape. The exact opposite of what you stated. Educated students don’t report rape? Is that what you’re trying to suggest? |
What? We go to football and lacrosse games at UMD all the time, never feel the slightest bit nervous. Hopkins, on the other end... eeesh. |
She’s saying that more educated and tougher students are more likely to report |
Not true at all. |
It is true for the UVA booster. |
