We are rooting for you OP! Let us know how it goes.

Me too re DCUm and trolls. I was the first person to respond to this post because I personally needed to see some goodness in DCUM and you all didn't disappoint--thank you!

OP again and I just want to let all of you know how much your encouragement has meant to me today. I woke up today thinking about how I really need a cheerleader in life and feeling pretty despondent that I don't have one even going through something really tough. So it means so much to you that you all took time to root for me today, even anonymously and from afar. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Can anyone give me a pep talk to get through today? I don’t want to get out of bed or face any of it.

Text 988 if you want to chat. It is a suicide hotline but they do a lot of real time talking to listen to what you are dealing with, and encourage you to take positive steps. It's free. You are anonymous. They are 24/7

OP, does your employer have an EAP? If so, you can probably get free, confidential help there, including therapy or coaching.

Keep moving forward OP- sometimes in very small increments. You matter.

I prayed for great things for you, OP! All trials are temporary, but there’s always something brighter over the horizon. Hang in there!

I'm literally in the same position everyday, fighting all alone with nobody in my corner, everything working against me and I'm still here.

If I can do it, so can you.

Thinking of you, OP. I pray for good things to come for you.

Remember, comparing yourself to others is the happiness (or something like that), in case this has anything to do with anyone else. You ar wonderful just as you are.

*oops the killer of happiness!

Comparison is the thief of joy!

So true. OP, and PP with the same situation but you’re nevertheless showing up and doing your best with today: I am rooting for you and saying a prayer that you feel supported and loved today. Not just that you are, but that you feel it, too.

OP and everyone else, have a really great day today. Everything will be fine.

Don’t suggest 988. That’s a suicide prevention hotline! It’s for people with real problems. Not people who need a little “pep talk” because they don’t want to go to work or their family is not postcard perfect.
