Know that EVERYONE on DCUM is with you. That's a lot of really great people (the very best) to have in your corner.

Go for a walk in the sunshine. It’s cool outside after the storms. It will improve your mood.

Ok, stay calm at least (think: I'm in control)

You've got it, OP. And it's ok to not be ok, too.

Try to break up the day into manageable pieces, and give yourself a reward for each of the pieces you make it through.

I hope whatever is making this a hard time starts to ease - and I know you can get through today, whatever challenges it presents.

Thinking about you today OP. I'm in a similar situation. Take deep breaths to get you through the morning. Plan for something like take out or a latte to give yourself a treat to look forward to.

You can do this, OP. And you are loved and needed. If you are feeling in crisis, there are anonymous hotlines you can find online to call and just vent to someone without judgment - sometimes you just need to get things off your chest without worrying about what other people think. Hold on, things will get better.

Awwwww...every time I'm ready to quit dcum because of the trolls, something lovely like this happens and I'm so moved by the kindness of some posters.

We are rooting for you OP! Let us know how it goes.

((big hug)) you can do this. Take breaks for yourself when you can and do things that make you happy. Small rewards. Time in the sun. I hope whatever you’re going through gets better. Be kind to yourself.

There’s a relatively new crisis line you can call. Just dial 988. It’s like 911 but for mental health crises and support. Nationwide, free, confidential, 24/7.
