Help. I need a pep talk.

I’m having a really, really hard time right now. I feel like I don’t have anyone to turn to or lean on. I can’t get into why right now— it’s too much and too specific to post here.

Can anyone give me a pep talk to get through today? I don’t want to get out of bed or face any of it.

OP here. Thank you, I needed that. Showered and dressed now, even made my kid's lunch and put on some music for morale.

Yes. I have to do something horrible this morning but then I will try to do something kind for myself when it's over.

Feelings are just that - they’re feelings. They may be intense and overwhelming, but feelings themselves won’t hurt you. Stay grounded in the small steps you’re making, and give yourself credit for each one. Things have been better for you, I’m certain, and they will be better again. You’re not alone.
