Would you be upset if someone became inebriated and puked in your bathroom during a party?

Does this really happen? Who are you all in DCUM land hanging out with??!

Right?? Even in college when I was drinking pretty heavily on weekends at parties people definitely threw up but I never encountered something like this…

Age of guest and situation, OP? I think PPs need more information. Did they puke in your living room? On your couch? In your bed? What?

Same, PP.

If they cleaned it up, no. I'd feel bad for them.
I do hate it when people say "inebriated" though.

Before age 27 or so? Not really. Now, at age 40? I’d be grossed out and assume this person had serious issues

Pardon. Floor or toilet? Did they clean it up?

Ugh I once had a stomach bug hit me at a party. My kids had had it earlier and I had assumed we were in the clear. It was one of those nasty <24 hour ones that apparently were contagious for over 48 hours. I cleaned up.

Sign of a good party

Wtf kind of parties are you going to

Have never encountered this ever in my life…

You must not be invited to a lot of parties. It’s pretty common.

No- id be cautious about inviting that person back but it depends on how preventable it was: unexpected reaction from one drink and new medication- not really their fault. Too many drinks and didn’t know when to stop- what are you 20? Probably someone I would be friends with anyway.

We’d be more likely to have a small child puke in our house with the type of parties that we tend host recently anyways.

I go to house parties fairly often. Puking is not that common, but it does happen.

I have to admit that this recently happened to me. Over the course of an entire night I can usually drink about three drinks and (of course I would never drive) but don’t get sick or do anything stupid, etc. Just last week I had two drinks over three hours, and was so drunk I can’t believe it. I felt horrible and in the bathroom all night. It made no sense.

Curious how you know this happened, OP. Because if I puked at someone else's house, I would everything in my limited human powers to eliminate the evidence -- and if I was too sick to clean up, my spouse would be enlisted until the bathroom looked exactly as it looked when the party started.
