7 and 9 year old obsessed with Diary of a Wimpy Kid

Hahahah my 6 and 8 year old constantly yell cheese touch! I’m okay with this obsession. I know someday I’ll look back and miss the days they were into these kinds of things.

Other book series my 8 y/o loves are Dog Man, Big Nate, and Diary of a MineCraft Zombie.

My girls love them. They re-read the books and listen to them on Audible. I don't get it, but whatever!

They're good to talk about as a family, especially discussing how the main character treats Rowley.

My now-20-year-old son loved them too. He did some clean up in his room over break but still wasn't ready to get rid of the Wimpy Kid books. Good memories

Read one of the books and pretend you are back in third grade and you will realize why kids love the books.
