The considerate thing to do would be to try not to share a cold with anyone else either. While not deadly, it could certainly make their trip less enjoyable.

I'd mainly be concerned about passing on my cold to the rest of the family since you'll be together all the time, and then ruining their trip too. Wouldn't be a fun vacation if everyone came down with a cold.

This. There was someone coughing every 15 seconds on one of my flights, it was excruciating to everyone around him.

Just got back from vacation. Had a “cold” on sunday. Tested negative for Covid. Tuesday felt stronger symptoms. Tested positive Tuesday afternoon. Don’t trust that first early test. Luckily it was mild and felt better by Wednesday evening.
