I have a flight booked with my family of 4, and now I'm coming down with a cold. Scratchy throat, runny nose, occasional cough. Negative covid test. What would you do? Reschedule? Go since it's just a cold?
GO!
I would go. Sounds like you have a minor cold. Bring some cold medicine and tissues and have fun. Take a decongestant 30 minutes before take off to make sure your ears are clear.
I would go.
Go. I’d wear a good mask but I wouldn’t reschedule.
I would wear a mask and go
Be polite and wear a mask in the airport and on the plane. Partly also to save yourself from lots of nasty looks. Fluids and Vitamin C today. Test again over the next day or two for Covid especially if it will impact your activities on the ground where you're traveling. |
I had similar symptoms last year. Didn't test positive for covid until day 3 (near end of major symptoms). It's probably not just a cold, but assuming you are vaxxed/infected earlier it will have similar (minor) effects. |
I would go and I wouldn’t even bother to mask.
I'd mask and travel.
Just go. No mask needed. No one is masking on flights - they're 99% unmasked and if you are out of the USA, it's more like 100% unmasked
Go. And wear a mask, please.
OP here - thanks everyone! I'll bring a mask.
Yeah I would go and wouldn't wear a mask. It is probably just allergies or a cold. You tested for COVID already.
Those symptoms aren't allergies. And as described earlier, it could easily still be covid, and even if "just a cold", good pro-social move to wear a mask. |
