No, the 600,000+ African Americans who live in my county that overwhelmingly vote Democrat. |
It's not like this poverty rate dramatically changed in the past 3 years. |
+1 DC and MoCo politicians are weird. |
Dumb take. Violent crime is usually committed by the same people over and over again. PG chooses to prosecute. DC does not. The DC police commissioner said recently that the average murder suspect has 11 felonies and yet they still walk free. DC prosecutors decline to pursue charges in 67 percent of all arrests Of course crime is a problem in DC when there are no consequences to anything. PG is choosing something different. They arrest and prosecute violent people. Good for them |
But you made the exact opposite point in the first sentence of your post. English comprehension can be hard. |
Interesting. Montgomery County has had 19 homicides so far, and a shooting today down near Progress Place. We are beating PG. |
Angela Alsabrooks flirted with the anti police activists for like a month, but then distanced herself from them. I think she could do that because she’s black. White politicos couldn’t. |
There’s been a false dichotomy. Either let criminals roam free or armed racist cops and let ‘‘em target black kids. PG seems to have found a middle ground - good policing. |
Crime is decreasing in nearly every major city except for DC. https://twitter.com/FeverPotomac/status/1675639516214771713?t=0a3zvXc__eI0QoLu6AjKrA&s=19 |
| I feel safer along route 1 that Georgia ave |
Spot on. I consider myself a moderate Democrat and I agree with the approach to crime taken by the PG county politicians. I would take Alsobrooks and Braveboy over Bowser, the crazy progressives on the DC Council, and AG Schwalb every time. |
| Didn’t burglary get re-defined so now it’s not burglary unless the homeowner is actually home at the time? |
| Martial law, send in the Marines to go door by door to arrest everyone |
We’re too stupid as a whole to be entrusted with self governance |
Or just do what PG has done... seems to be working based on the stats. |
