Besides, most men die 1st meaning women die alone anyway.

Often, men are terrible caregivers and women must call upon their community for care anyway.

I have a friend that visits me 4 times a year to get away from the kids, mess, stress and husband.

We drink coffee quietly in the am, in a candle lit room while listening to soft music.
We take afternoon naps.
We visit wineries.

It's glorious. But I mean how much quiet, naps and wine can one person take, lolz.

OP, Get family therapy session and take them all while you raise this issue so they can hear from someone else.

As far as living alone, that's not a walk in the park either. Grass is greener and stuff.
