Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) says he will not run for U.S. Senate

In a Democratic primary Alsobrooks beats Trone.

Trone's money didn't help him beat Raskin and it won't be enough to win here either.

Respect to Raskin for deciding to focus on the bigger picture this year rather than spending his time fighting with Trone and Alsobrooks

Is Alsobrooks even campaigning? Or does she just assume she has this in the bag and there is no need to bother? Trone is everywhere

I haven't seen either of them, except online but I'd note Alsobrooks has the more demanding job

The voters are far more diverse for Senate than Raskin's district. Trone wins.

Trone's huge money allowed him to get out on the air super early.

Alsobrooks is doing the endorsement game for now since that's free, but you have to assume she is fundraising like crazy and will get out there too as it gets closer.

Sure it’s more diverse but something like 70% of Dem voters live in Baltimore, Montgomery county and PG county so I don’t think Allegheny county is going to decide this election.

Money doesn't buy charisma, and Trone has none. Alsobrooks will win.

The vast majority of the Democratic voters in Trone’s district are in Montgomery County, though.

It's Van Hollen vs Edwards redux except this time the white guy has hundreds of millions at his disposal.

I don’t know if you could get more reductionist verging on racist if you tried.

Trone has little in common with Van Hollen beyond being a white guy and Alsobrooks has little in common with Edwards beyond being a Black woman.

She is rather underwhelming.

Although somewhat better than it used to be, "PG" still stands for "Pervasive Graft" County.

What policy positions do any of them disagree on?

Do tell me what policy positions all 4 differ on.
