+1. If you remove the taboo aspect, then no one will want to use it. |
Um, see alcohol & all the damage it continues to do… it’s legal, but kids & adults still want to use (& abuse) it. |
Huh? Marijuana is legal all over the place now and there's no drop in usage at all. What a naive and incorrect thing to say. |
I wonder if these parents knew their kids were drug dealers. |
What makes you think he lived in falls church? |
Kids can keep a lot of things from their parents, but seems highly unlikely that other varsity soccer players at W-L didn't know their teammate was involved w/drugs. |
He’s stalking the poor kid on the internet. That’s how. |
The W-L kid lived in Arlington. He just went to falls Church presumably to get drugs. |
This is so unbelievably sad. My heart breaks for their parents. |
It’s “just pot”. I thought all soccer players smoked. |
The news reports said he lived in Falls Church |
No, it said the crime location, an apartment building, was in falls church. This is from the report “ Braden Deahl, 18, of Arlington County, was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. “ |
They knew, and it's sad. |
He lived in Arlington. One of my kids knew him. He did sell pot on the side. He was well liked and a nice kid. This is a horrible situation. |
The police found other narcotics near the crime scene besides pot, according to the police. So it seems like more than weed was involved here. FCPD have now charged an 18-year-old from Falls Church, in addition to a juvenile, in connection with the robbery leading to the two deaths. https://fcpdnews.wordpress.com/2023/05/31/update-arrest-announced-in-sundays-double-homicide/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social |
