Whatever I happen to feel like that day. That's the beauty of having nobody around to dictate the meal; just me and whatever mood I'm in.
A bowl of cereal, Chinese take out, leftovers, pizza, whatever. |

Didn't read all the replies but wow, this sounds like a dream!
I'd definitely treat myself to some nice pastries for breakfast a couple of days. Also get a good loaf of bread from the bakery and would make a pot of soup for it to go with, which would take care of some lunches. I usually have salad fixings at home, so I'd make salads for some lunches as well. Takeout & leftovers for dinner. |
| All the things my family doesn't like to eat! Enjoy your week! |

Baguette, cheese, fruit
Egg sandwich Veggies and dip Takeout Maybe a big bowl of pasta |

I had a few days of this recently and I really enjoyed an extra long workout class one morning, then out to a bigger breakfast with a really good latte. I just worked late that day- because I could!
I got one take out meal each day (lots of seafood since my kids and DH won’t eat it) and tried to make the other meals very healthy- salads, fruit and protein etc. plus I did long walks or formal exercise every day- because I had plenty of time! |
Garlic naan, samosas, chicken korma, bindhi dal (okra), kidney bean dal |
|
Yeah i would definitely look to eat the things that my family doesn’t like - indian for one bc Dh doesn’t like it. A juicy grilled steak bc kids don’t like it.
Big fancy salad for lunch. Make something that will keep and then you don’t have to prep and clean all week Also - indulgent snacks/treats that i don’t have to share. Ice cream And Milano cookies! |
I live alone. Yesterday I had tortilla chips and fruit salad for lunch, and a chopped salad for dinner. Today I will have chickpea salad for lunch and going out for dinner. Breakfast tacos and omelettes are easy. I love sardines and eat them on a cracker with mustard, or toss in pasta with capers, shallots and lemon. |

Baked potatoes with favorite toppings

Loaded baked potato. From the microwave.
Salad like I love it - peas, cheese, onions, green peppers, iceberg, radishes… |
This sounds great right down to the television recs- I could watch dateline and 20/20 for an entire weekend and not move. |
| All the things my DH doesn't like: Thai or Indian food, salmon and veggies, lentil soup and salad. And would probably roast a chicken and eat off of that for a couple of days. |
