What to do in Baltimore from 6PM-10PM at night?

Then I would walk to Vaccarro's for dessert.

The O's game would be fun (it's a gorgeous park) but there's no good food to be had. So maybe watch an inning or two and then bounce?

Fun fact: Last week I walked from Penn Station to the Inner Harbor around midnight with a girlfriend. And I lived to tell the tale! Gasp.

That was a monumentally stupid thing to do.

Yeah, a guaranteed way to get shot... oh, wait.

Harbor east and/or fells point is a great area.
You can walk along the waterfront from harbor east down towards canton and lots of good bars and seafood options along the way. The people saying harbor east and fells are dangerous most likely are not from Baltimore

I am from Baltimore and that waterfront is dangerous. Be honest.

Lived in Baltimore for 30 years and my only exposure to crime was in DC. You obviously know nothing about Baltimore.

I didn’t know that about the Helmand. My picky eater loved the food there.

Pretty much the only place left in inner harbor is Cheesecake Factory so not that hard.

Not np. There is crime all over downtown Baltimore, don't know where you've been, but it's staring you right in the face. Getting to the courthouse in broad daylight for jury duty was especially fun. Can't wait to do that again!

Ha, I love that someone reported my response to this

Agreed with Italian food. Cinghiale is good. Also Loch Bar in the Four Seasons for seafood.

Helmand is fine but not earth shattering.

Don’t loiter outside but you don’t need to wear armor - it will be fine.

Wow, that sounds yummy.

Any suggestions for things for hubby and I to do while we wait from roughly 630PM-1030PM? Haven't been up there in at least 5 years, so not sure what is even open at this point - especially in the Inner Harbor area. Thanks so much!

A friend who lives in Baltimore literally doesn't go out in the city in the evenings anymore; she's a 70+ AA lady.

If you have four hours to kill, and you want Italian food, Little Italy is about six blocks east of the harbor. Have dinner at a place there (I like La Tavola) and then go to Vaccaro’a for dessert.

For great food that’s a different variety, Helmand which is Afghani north on Charles Street. Or Cypriana (middle Eastern/Cyprus) is great up near the Hopkins undergraduate campus.

Guys, stop recommending “dinner followed by Vaccaro’s”. It closes at 8:00 on weekdays.
