Are affairs with Au Pairs common?

Do you think they would agree to sleeping with you?

I have no idea

Erik Prince started sleeping with his kids' nanny when Wife #1 was diagnosed with cancer. Wife found out, told people to keep the nanny away from her kids. Wife dies, nanny is already pregnant and attends her funeral with Erik. Erik married her a year later. They are now divorced and he's married to someone else.

I dated and partied with many au pairs right when I was fresh out of college. None of them talked about any interest in sleeping with the dads, even the au pairs who were on the old side like late 20s. They were much more interested in me and my friends.

Tell yourself whatever you need to so you can sleep at night, but life is more nuanced than that. Young or old, most women are looking for a man who is stable and a good provider, especially in this economy with a recession looming. If the married dad still looks pretty good, is affable and wealthy, his age and marital status will be ignored.

Frankly, if you bring a young, gorgeous woman into your home and put her in front of your husband multiple days per week... you're playing with fire. Most husbands love their wives and aren't inclined to cheat, but human beings are flawed.

Gross, you sound super narcissistic.
You keep telling yourself whatever you need to, but just know that any 20 something that gets with you, will always be doing it because she NEEDS something from you and never for love or attraction.

As soon as she gets what she needs, she'll be back with the guys her own age and regretting the things she had to do with you.

Not common. But not so unusual that people are surprised when it happens.

She doesn’t want you, OP. You’re old.

I'm a single man who had a FWB with an Au Pair for about six months in 2021. She worked for a divorced couple and the husband lived elsewhere. She was part of an online group of DC Au Pairs and talked about how happy she was to be in a woman-only house because her friends were typically disgusted by the fathers.

This. I wasn't an Aupair, but I did some live-in work. The dads could be uncomfortable. It was a very awkward job. I'm so happy I am doing something else now. One family got a divorce and forgot to let me know. I showed up for work, and the mom fled to California. They never paid me. I remember she would get mad when she saw him talking to me for what she considered long periods.

Gawd, that is disgusting. Shows what kind of guy he's always been.

You forgot who is living in your house.

If course you did you just weren’t aware.

Ethan Hawke married the nanny. The wife was Uma Thurman.

I don’t think you know what the word narcissism means.

What a stupid joke.
