Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
Can I come home with you for dinner? My mom made an excellent cheese/spinach souffle. One of my very favorite memories is how on souffle day, my dad would relax the house rules and let my pet parrot sit at the table with us, because souffle was the parrot's favorite food, too. No one could resist the happy little clicks and whistles he made when you gave him his spinach souffle... He would do his little foot-stompy dance of joy... I'm tearing up. Weird food association, I know. |

We used to dip the bread in the grease as well. I do it once in a while now, but I dip it in bacon grease. Soooo good! and I also had the pierogies & stuffed cabbage. This is motivating me to try to make the dough for pierogies. It never tastes the same as my mom. |
