Anyone remember Harry's Tap Room in Clarendon?

Loved Harry’s Tap Room too! Had my first “real” date with my now husband there. Was also my go to when my parents visited - this was when I lived in Clarendon in my 20s.

I used to think Circa was a good substitute for Harry’s. Thoughts?

Aegean Taverna was the Greek place that used to be there. DH and I are so many good meals there. Simple Greek food, sitting under the grape arbor. Clarendon 20yrs ago was a very different place.

Restaurant 3 was also there. It’s the spot that can’t hold on.

We were young with a baby and would always bring baby to Harry's back in 2005ish.

Harry’s Tap Room was good too

Aegean Taverna was indeed lovely. When that whole block was being redeveloped, the owners of the building and land that Aegean Taverna sat on declined several offers to purchase. They were holding out for more money. What ended up happening is that the developers just planned and built AROUND their site, leaving that lonely corner parcel to be undevelopable beyond a 2/3 story structure. They ended up selling for LESS than their first offer.

Harry’s Tap Room was good too

I remember this place! Loved it and we weren’t even that into Greek food.
